I initially met Holly Erker through a close friend who purchased a large home in the Scotch 80s community of Las Vegas about three years ago. I was living in NYC at the time, but considering the purchase of a second home in Las Vegas. After a few years passed, I was ready recently to move forward with a home purchase, and re-connected with Holly. We discussed the area I was interested in (the guard gated communities of Rancho/West Las Vegas) and the type of house I preferred (mid-century modern). Holly did an excellent job of touring me through various homes in my specific area(s) of interest, explaining the pros and cons of each separate community, and was very knowledgeable about the then-current inventory, how long available houses had been on the market, why some homes had lingered longer than others, etc. Eventually, a home came to market of the exact type and location I desired, and Holly's expertise was crucial in two ways - first, Holly oversaw extensive inspections on all home systems (as I was in NYC) that revealed issues which were useful in the bid process; and second, in helping me win the home as we were in a multiple-bid situation with other interested parties.
