Paradise Palms
Paradise Palms is Las Vegas’ first master-planned community, developed between 1960 and 1970 in unincorporated Clark County. Known for its historical significance, it features around 1,000 homes, many of which were designed by the renowned architectural duo Dan Palmer and William Krisel, whose unique mid-century modern designs have left a lasting impact on the region. The homes in Paradise Palms are often compared to the Racquet Club Road Estates in Palm Springs, reflecting the same iconic style and desert-inspired aesthetic.
Recently designated as a historic neighborhood, Paradise Palms is the only community in Nevada to feature street sign toppers highlighting its architectural and cultural importance. The neighborhood showcases a mix of original mid-century modern homes, each designed with open floor plans, large windows, and an emphasis on seamless integration with the surrounding desert landscape.
With its spacious lots, tree-lined streets, and distinctive architectural charm, Paradise Palms remains a treasured example of Southern Nevada’s postwar residential development, offering a glimpse into the city’s early suburban growth while preserving its unique, retro character.
